Tomorrow is the last fall auction. We snagged a Holland Lop buck at the last auction, and took in two rescue Jersey wooly bucks. This round we're hoping to get a French Lop buck, a Jersey wooly doe, and maybe a new meat buck. I'd also be happy to pick up another French Lop doe or a magpie harlequin doe, and I certainly wouldn't turn away from an English Lop if one comes through at a low price. I may be on the prowl for some meat rabbits as well. They sell really well in the spring. I always seem to get an influx of people looking for meat breeding trios in the spring. Maybe if I pick some up in the fall and breed through winter I can supply that demand next year.
This morning I got an email from SeedsNow. They got in some more garlic, and lo-and-behold, one is a variety I've been wanting to try; Musik. So I bought a sample pack of Musik garlic (three cloves) and since I had a coupon for free shipping, I picked out some other seeds as well. All together we will be getting Musik garlic, Birds Eye pepper, Hot Holiday Marbles pepper, Cinnamon Basil, and Winter Giant spinach seeds. My grand total was under $7. Not bad at all!
