Still no word on when we're going to get our current house fixed so we don't have to live in a hotel.
It was warmer today and I was able to check on the baby bunnies. They're all doing well, though they definitely need more time being held. Charlotte's litter is doing great too! They're such pudgy babies! Charlotte is definitely a good momma! I must correct myself on the colors though. I thought we had a couple black spotted babies in there, but all three have turned out to be more brown. That means we have one solid black, one brown with white markings, and three white with brown spots. I also had a chance to peek in the winter sown containers today. The three Hearts of Gold cantaloupe that were coming up are severely damaged. The biggest one may not be salvageable, though the two smaller look ok for now. We're still anticipating below freezing temps every night until Wednesday. I'm sure I put more than three seeds in so perhaps if the cold gets to these ones, more will come up once it warms back up again. There's a single green spot in the Victoria Rhubarb container, but not really "up" yet. Four sprouts in the Bosc Pear container (yay!), one tiny sprout in the German Chamomile container, and one green spot (not out of the soil yet) in the organic Spaghetti Squash container. The dill container continues to outperform all the others for growth. They've got their first real leaves in already! Tony touched base with the mortgage company, and it sounds like everything is still lining up just fine for our closing date (May 19). We got the official appointment paper in the mail for going and signing to have the title transferred and paying the closing costs. In just 21 days, we should have keys in hand to our new home! I'm very excited!
