The second Lemon Drop tomato was ripe and ready today.
I also noticed this tomato (below) was wilting on the vine. It's tiny and orange, but I bought the seed as Black Krim. There's just a hint of dark on it, nothing like what I was expecting. There is a larger tomato on the same plant that is turning from green to orange now. I think I'll watch it closer to see if it ripens without turning dark.
I also learned that bell peppers are ripe when they reach the appropriate color, not necessarily when they reach the right size. I bought organic rainbow bell pepper seeds (Livingston Seed Co) that were supposed to produce yellow, orange, red and purple peppers. These tiny malformed peppers are chocolate brown. One wilted completely and I decided to pick the other two. There is one more green pepper (also small and deformed) on the plant.
