I also transplanted the Victoria rhubarb I'd winter sown. There were only 11 plants. I guess that's better than nothing. Hopefully next year we'll grow even more rhubarb! When grown from seed there's a chance for genetic mutations causing slight variations in the resulting plants. I think it would be neat to have several rows grown from seed and see if they're all the same.
I still have to plant the peppers, tomatoes, German thyme, chamomile, parsley, apples, Bartlett pears, melons, and squash still stuck in their winter sown containers. I've been putting everything off hoping to get a timeline on moving. I have no garden to move these plants to - and I'm already getting too late in the season for some of them. I'm very frustrated with the buying process on this house.
On the plus side, we finally got housekeeping today. It was a strange ordeal. They called on the room phone to ask if we wanted room service, to which I replied, "Yes please!" - But when they came they asked me to keep everyone in one room while they cleaned the other, and then when they asked if I wanted it vacuumed, they asked me to take the kids and leave for fifteen minutes. Is that normal? That seems really weird to me. I'm a little paranoid to begin with, but it seems really suspicious when two housekeepers ask you to leave your room while they clean... Particularly when you have a decent amount of electronics brought along to keep kids busy. Nothing seems to be missing, but I'm still a little weirded out about it. I'm glad to have clean towels and the trash taken out, and fresh sheets too. The girls' bathroom still doesn't have a light/fan though.
Still no word on either house.
I got updated photos of most of the baby bunnies today. Check out the Rabbits page to see their cute little mugs!
