One short haired black buck, and one longer haired black buck (with a few white hairs on his forehead). I took updated photos today.
Tomorrow PetSmart is having some kind of timed sale. From noon until 3pm all ZooMed items are 40% off, and if you buy the ZooMed habitat, your reptile purchase is 50% off. Well, #3 has worked hard to earn her pet snake that she's researched and learned about over the last year. She has done chores to earn $250, and her money will go a lot further with 40% off, and half off the snake. We're going tomorrow to get everything she needs. She's about to enter snake ownership. Here we go!
The incubator has been a busy place today. We have seven new babies tonight. I moved five down to the brooder with the five that have hatched recently. I left the two newest, still wet babies in the incubator to dry. This brings our brooder total up to 19 ducklings (plus the two in the incubator)... plus the eight outside. We now have 29 ducks with one more pipped and a few eggs still in the incubator. That's a heck of an increase from the three we started with this spring!
But alas, me taking the kids for the day means Tony has spare time to get all of my garden goodies built... Two raspberry / blackberry beds, six potato towers, and finishing the strawberry bed... so we can get back to planting on Sunday!
