I made some marked progress on the scarf today. I'm slowly building up one extra stitch each row, so it's slowly getting back up to the size I wanted originally. This leaves a strange thinning and thickening to the width. I'm tempted to continue it along the length of the scarf to make this mistake less noticeable. The other option - I've seen scarves before with one narrow spot toward one end and the other end has a space with double layered crochet that makes an open ended pouch, where the narrow end goes through to keep the ends of the scarf tidy (not flapping in the breeze or falling off or hanging down when you bend over to tie your boot). Maybe I'll figure out how to do that instead. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Just a piece the same width as the scarf on the other end, and then stitch it on to the scarf, same as the way I stitch my pot holders and coasters closed when I'm done. Biggest issue for this one would be matching the pattern... So maybe a contrasting color instead?
Today's project was photographing all of my handmade earrings again. I got through most of them before the camera battery died. Now I'm going through and cropping all the photos to get ready to list them for sale. They're currently listed for sale on the Earrings page, but I'm going to put them up for sale on Bonanza as soon as I have time. Just a heads up, if you want them for the lower price, you'll have to buy them through our website here. The listings for the earrings on Bonanza will be more expensive as we will have more fees to pay and advertising expenses as well.
