Tomorrow is my pre-surgical physical. I know they'll want a blood draw to check my platelets, and they'll go over all the stuff I need to know about the liquid diet I will need to be on prior to surgery, when and where to check in, and what to expect. It'll be an overnight stay in the hospital. I don't like being away from my family, but if it means getting good care and making sure I'm up to coming home and there were no complications, then I guess we'll go for it (not like I have another option).
My tummy pains have been coming back more frequently, particularly after dinner before bed, and especially if I sit down for a while after dinner (to play a game or browse the internet for example). They happen less often if I clean up dinner and go lay in bed instead, but that seems hardly practical. So far a hot pack or a long hot shower have proven to be quite helpful. Still off of all pain meds (day 38).
