Total at the greenhouse came to just shy of $20. Not a bad haul. And if every plant produces something it could end up paying for itself in saved grocery bills.
Today miss Feather delivered her very first litter. This is my much anticipated breed back from Sushi. There are eight healthy wiggling little kits in the nest box. No loses so far. Feather seems to be doing alright and checks on the babies when I dig in the nest to peek. They're all clean and dry and hidden well in the hay. This will be the O litter (all the kits will have O names).
I got more loads of laundry done today than I can keep count of. The first several loads went outside to dry on the line until we ran out of room. Then I took the heavier stuff (jeans and coats and sweaters) and tossed them in the dryer (which is now hooked up and usable) to save line space. The last few loads all had to go in the dryer as we were running out of sunlight, but everything that was hanging outside was dry by nightfall. Success! We're making progress on getting through laundry - though I have a lot more to go.
Best news yet though is that the real estate agent got back to us after hearing from the title company - we're good to go to sign on the house! Now we just have to wait for the mortgage company to get the information from the title company so everything is lined up. We're hoping to sign on the 13th. That's just one week away! Start packing kids - we've got a timeframe again! Now if we just had some boxes...
