Low temperature tonight is expected to be 39, but it's already 40 (at 9pm), so I'm sure it will get much colder. Seedlings are covered, but with wet blankets, so I hope it's enough. The lows for tomorrow and the next night are 33 and 35. Hopefully this is the last of the cold weather (we're coming up on that magical last frost date).
In the meantime, I'm using some gardening software to plan out what I'm going to plant where in the shade garden. I think I'll use the square foot method to get the most out of the space I have.
Despite the cold weather, Table Queen Acorn Squash and Black Zebra Tomato have both pushed up seedlings, adding to the number under the blankets.
