I've got the hazelnut seeds soaking tonight. Once they sink to the bottom of the container, they'll go in the soil and out to join the other winter sown containers. I'm hoping to get more containers done soon, but Tony wasn't able to grab a bag of soil and I only have a half bag of dried up soil from last spring left. It'll work in a pinch, but there's not a lot left.
I've asked Tony for a timeline - when will we talk to the loan officer, when will we put together an offer for the house? I asked him last week and he said "when the tax refund comes." So now that we have our tax refund, I asked again if we would be making some calls on his next day off. He just got snippy with me, said I'm badgering him. I can't help but feel like he's intentionally dragging his feet. It seems every time we get close to making significant progress towards leaving our current house, he balks. He swears he wants to move too, but he sure has a funny way of showing it.
Tony works this weekend, but I'm hoping to motivate the kids to help clean around the house. Maybe some dishes, laundry, straightening the living room, or maybe even delving into cleaning their bedrooms! Wishful thinking...
