So tomorrow we're going out to the house and I'm going to start power-sorting things. Stuff we want to keep, and stuff we need to get rid of. Everything we don't want to bring to the new house goes to the front yard. I've posted a couple ads here and there tonight to try to advertise our last-minute yard sale.
#1 is interested in using the bartering skills she's picked up from various tv shows. Go for it girl! Why not? So she's going to be running the front end and interacting with people and selling things. I'll be digging through the garage sorting stuff. #2 will be running things from the garage to the front yard, while #3 watches #5. #4 is spending the night with a friend so she won't be there until she gets dropped off.
We will also have the last six bunnies out in the front yard to see if we can find them homes. We have two from each litter left (since I'm not putting any more effort into finding a home for Lilith due to her aggression).
With any luck we can downsize our "stuff" and put a little money in our pockets for the upcoming move.
Again, no word on the new house. Though the cleaning people called this morning - and it was an interesting conversation. The lady was pretty rude and told Tony they hadn't made any progress last week because "we called you to arrange cleaning, and our guy waited around but you didn't show up, and you were unavailable the rest of the week." Ummm..... They never called us! The guy claims he called Tony and Tony told him he'd be there in 45 minutes... But Tony never got a call, never spoke to anyone, no missed calls, and was very angry because the cleaning crew never called and didn't show up. We're sick of being in a hotel - we WANT them to come and clean! They're trying to make it sound like the delays are our fault. Seriously? Please folks, if you are in the Brainerd area - never hire Service Master (the people in the yellow vehicles). They'll send one guy to work for two hours and not show up several days in a row and then call and expect you to be there immediately on the days they do choose to come and work. They've delayed ten weeks now on a project that would have taken them two days with a full crew working a full 8-hour day. This is ridiculous!
