We finally finished the puzzle we started on Saturday. It was a 1000 piece with a lake scene that #2 picked out. It's been taking up the kitchen table for says. It was nice to have dinner tonight at the table again!
I'm still working on the scarf project, and as much as I want to dive into the new crochet quilt project, I'm forcing myself to finish this project first. I'd say I'm about two-thirds of the way done so far.
Here's a photo of Sherlock, just because he's such a gorgeous boy. He hatched out of the eggs we bought from one of #1's friends. He's part Easter Egger (or Americauna) as he has a beard, but I have no idea what else he's crossed with. I'm told they had a lot of feather-footed varieties. He is one of the roosters we plan on keeping.
Tonight we had an especially pretty sunset. It reflected off the ice over the lake. The entire West side of the property was bathed in shades of pink for a brief few minutes before the sun sank away for the night.
