Yesterday I switched the satin bunnies around. Cuddles is due today, so she got the cage with the nice hutch nest box, and Tellurium (formerly known as Bubbles) was bred to George and then moved to a new cage. She should be due 6/10/16 and her babies will be half Satin, quarter New Zealand, quarter Californian. Though satin is recessive, so the babies will all have "normal" fur. I updated the rabbit page to reflect the new breeding.
I've got a few plans for this weekend. We're building a very large kitty containment unit. We will be building a two level cat palace, complete with litter boxes, scratch posts, custom kitty dishes, and handmade toys. I plan on adding on a planter to the outside edge and growing fresh catnip for them too.
Tonight we're expecting 29 degrees, we have a frost warning, and today it started snowing! Tomorrow night is supposed to be 31 degrees. After that it should stay above freezing for the season, but this late season cold is really causing problems for the local garden centers that have plants outside already. I'm hoping next week we can get the back garden tilled, the second raised bed built, and maybe even some of the bean trellises made.
