Today #4 decided she'd like to breed her new rabbits. She chose to breed Thumper (a plain chestnut brown doe) to Sushi (a broken tricolor) in hopes of getting some color. She chose to breed Spotty to Servine to test to see if she's part Rex. We were told they were both Rex, but neither has the Rex coat. Servine is a purebred Rex and Sushi is a Rex cross, so if they are Rex crossed does, there's a chance we may get Rex coated babies. If not, we know they're not Rex crosses either.
Since she was breeding two first-time does, I put Snowflake in with Ulysses. If the two new does turn out to be bad moms, maybe Snowflake can foster babies.
I got to the craft store to pick up the craft glue I bought online the other day. Unfortunately, it's water soluble. It may not work for the project I had intended. Does anyone have a suggestion for a craft glue that is ready-to-use (not a mix-two-chemicals type), non-toxic, dries clear, and will hold up when exposed to water? I can't use a glue gun (I burn myself - every time).
We have some flowers blooming in the yard. Well, we always have flowers blooming so long as it's warm out. Tonight it was the tigerlilies that caught my eyes. Here's a photo taken just after sun down tonight.
Tony called to say good night. I suppose I should head to bed too.
