Which reminds me - what are we going to do with our plants when we have to move to a new hotel? I hope they have window space, but the photos I'm finding online show ground-level windows facing a parking lot... nothing we'd want to keep open to enjoy the daylight. It would just invite theft to leave the window open for people to peek inside. No privacy at all. I can't stand the thought of being trapped in this new (very old and outdated) hotel for ny length of time. Maybe a night as you pass through the area, or a weekend if you're only there long enough to sleep, but all day every day with five kids? Not looking forward to this move.
We're expecting rain tomorrow. It'll be good for the plants. Might be a good day to order delivery. Still no word on when the old house will be cleaned again, or when the paperwork for the new house will come through. We will continue to wait. Though it feels like the clock is ticking louder than ever now.
We are anticipating two new litters this week, from Alice and Fern. I saw some fur in the back corner of Alice's cage, but Fern doesn't seem to be ready yet (though she's pretty round). Tomorrow is the first day they could be due. I dropped the price on the J litter from $30 each to $25 each. They are 12 weeks old today.
