We now have three chicks in the hatching incubator. Two are black with yellow tips on their wings and white middle toes, and the third is white and black. They all came out of brown eggs. The darker brown egg pipped and partially unzipped and has now stalled out. Still nothing from the 3/31 eggs. They may be duds.
Today I got the DVD I ordered a couple days ago. I'm so excited. Recently we got a survey in the mail asking about our gambling tendencies. Since we don't gamble, it was a pretty easy questionnaire, mostly "if no, skip to next question" stuff. Anyway, at the end it said they'd give me a $10 Amazon gift card for participating. Sounds good to me! Turns out Darby O'Gill and the Little People is $9.99 on Amazon, so for 73-cents (tax) I got a movie I've been wanting for a while. Not bad! I think we'll have a movie night Friday. Tony works and I'll be home with kids. It's been forever since I watched this movie. I just remember about jumping out of my skin when the banshee showed up. I had nightmares about a carriage taking the dead away. Perhaps I was just too young when I first watched it. It's an old movie, it was old even when I was little. It's from 1959, long ago when Sean Connery was still a young man (29... I looked it up, he was 29 when this film was released).
Tomorrow is going to be a rough day for me, so I'm going to end this blog here so I can get some sleep.
