Today my Uncle and Dad came out to look at the stove. Turns out it's made for natural gas and doesn't have the conversion pieces - they have to be ordered. We found them online for something like $32 plus shipping. Tony says he will order them, and Uncle and Dad say they will come back once we have a conversion kit to install it so we can use the oven properly.
I had #4 write out her spelling words five times each, then tested her on a few of them in the car on the way to my parents' house for dinner. I plan to quiz her every day before her test on Friday. Perhaps if she gets used to the daily writing and rehearsing of her spelling tests, it will help improve her writing skills (and her grades). If nothing else, I hope it will show her good work ethic.
We got home crazy late (12:30am) and I went out to make sure bunnies were all set with water and food for the night, put Gypsy in with Neelix for the night, and put down the food for Josh, Leonardo, and Tweak.
I did notice tonight that little Octavius was climbing over all his cage mates to try to get to the feeder bin when I filled it. Keeping in mind that I know there's enough food in the bin that when all the other bunnies have full tummies, there will still be plenty for Octavius, I felt bad for him in that moment. I moved him to the smaller cage with Onyxia, who was having a similar problem in her grow out pen. Octavius is now slightly bigger than Onyxia. There's plenty of food, hay, water, and some corn husk in there for both of them, and this way they can keep one another company.
Anyway, I'm too tired to think straight right now, so I'm off to bed. Perhaps I will get more done tomorrow to make a more interesting blog post.
