Last night we had food from the Costco Deli. The spinach salad and the stuffed bell peppers to be exact and they were pretty good. The kids disagree somewhat though. We might try both again with our own spin (buying our own ingredients).
I used both of the flat containers for yet more winter sowing seeds. The container on the left has a black bottom and clear plastic lid, and I put in catnip seeds (Lilly Miller) that I bought from Listia. The container on the right is an aluminum bottom and clear plastic lid, and to be honest, I expect nothing from it. I got some "catnip" seeds in a swap last year and it looked like just dried grey flower petals, but being new to gardening, I didn't question it. Well, come to find out that catnip seeds are round and black... so I assume I just planted some flower petals and nothing will grow, but in case they are some other kind of seed, I decided to give it a go anyway.
