Shape: Thin Strawberry
Size: 6-10 inches tall, small fruits
DTM: 100-120
Notes: White Soul is less productive than red varieties, but you won't have to fight the birds for them. Because they lack red coloring, birds will tend to ignore them. It grows best in partial shade, but may get bitter if grown in full shade. If planted in full sun, provide some protection from the sun (a sun shade, or a taller plant). This variety is a perennial in zones 5 and warmer, but can be successfully overwintered with a good supply of mulch. Aromatic, ever-bearing, and non-GMO. Gardener reviews seem to indicate that it gets bigger each year, and may need to be separated into multiple plants after just a year or two. Produces very few to no runners. Grows true to seed and self-seeds easily if fruits are left on the plant.
