The Alabama Red okra seeds soaked for a full 27 hours and are now sandwiched in a wet paper towel in a plastic baggy. I'm hopeful but is know the seeds have a less than 50% germination rate due to their age. I'll just have to wait and see. The package said germination can take up to two weeks. I plan to give these seeds longer just to see if any of them can pull through.
The lettuce appears to be unscathed by the accidental vinegar spritz. I've been turning the container throughout the day since I put it beside the grow light. Last night I added a piece of tinfoil along the back and it seems to reflect enough light that I won't have to turn it as often. It does appear to dry the soil out faster though.
