Potentially bigger news, after a long phone call (thank you Tony), we have been pre-approved for a loan big enough to buy the property I have my eye on. We will need $5,000 for a down payment, which is a lot less than I was expecting. Time for some major fundraising!!
On the flip side, the real estate agent that our insurance approved us to work with is no longer available (maybe he retired?). Now we have to wait for the insurance company to give us a new name before we can inquire about seeing the property. And of course we have to see the property to decide if the house will be within our means to fix up. I'm crossing my fingers (and my toes, and my eyes), and praying hard. If it's meant to be, it will work out. And if not, my heart will be broken, but I'll know that this just wasn't "the one" after all.
In order to come up with that $5000 down payment on the loan (or at least the portion of it that we don't have in the savings account), I'm once again begging for sales. Please check out our eBay listings - mostly clothing right now that was donated. If that's not your thing, bookmark it and you might come back to find something else later. I also have a wide variety of things available for sale in my Bonanza booth, from sewing patterns to collectibles, and other odds and ends. We also have listings on Amazon, mostly my record collection and some old crafting magazines and stuff, as well as an unopened case of Pokemon Fossil deck boxes. Please check out what we have available and considering making a purchase to help us out. I'm hoping to get a lot more listed on eBay in the near future, so please check back in the coming days and weeks. There will be more!
