The Dwarf Tophat Blueberry plant from GardensAlive arrived today. It looks a little rough, but I planted it in a 12-inch pot with organic Miracle Grow, rabbit manure (courtesy of Bennett), and some kind of mix that is supposed to make the soil more acidic (picked it up at Menards). It's currently outside in full sun.
Floki didn't want to sit still for a photo so this is the best I could get. It looks like Floki's right eye (left in the photo) is turning green, while her left eye (right in the photo) is remaining blue. Floki may be bi-eyed! Very cute and completely unexpected. Dad has blue eyes and Mom has green eyes.
