The two coldest we were not able to revive. The three that were still moving we were able to warm up. As I said in a previous post, if I lose one more from this litter, I'm going to shelve them. So today they are in the house in a little tote with some shavings.
The three remaining kits could't look less alike. We have one solid white, one black with white markings, and one chocolate torte. Mom is supposed to be Dutch / Lionhead, so what dad was is a complete mystery. The black one has a half dutch pattern on one front arm, just like momma. I'm especially hoping that little chocolate torte survives. I've always thought torte was just about the cutest color on a rabbit.
First shelving feeding this evening was OK. Momma does *NOT* like to be picked up and initially was kicking and scratching when I tried to put her in the nest box. Then I transferred the nest box into a tote, and put momma in with the entrance blocked. She spent quite a bit of time with them, so I'm hoping this will be a successful venture.
