Like many people, I get a lot of seed and plant catalogs. I signed up to get most of them last year so I could start researching and collecting seeds, and many have followed through with fresh catalogs this year. One of the catalogs caught my eye recently. The front cover had a coupon for $25 off, with no order minimum, even saying that if the order was under $25, it was completely free. Well, I can't pass up an offer like that, now can I? I've been wanting to try blueberries for a while. I like the idea of something that I don't have to replant every year. Low maintenance sounds excellent to me. This catalog happened to have some blueberry plants, and for less than $25! So I filled out my order form and will be mailing it tomorrow. I ordered one Dwarf Tophat Blueberry plant, and one packet of Watermelon Radish seeds. The total for those two came to $16.90, postage was $7.95, giving me a grand total of $24.85. Apply the $25 off coupon, and my order (should be) free. I'm still skeptical. Free? Like, really free? How can they make any money giving things away like that? So, I'm mailing my order in tomorrow with no credit card information, and no check. I will update if/when I receive my order. If it really does arrive and is truly 100% free, I will definitely let everyone know to order from them!
