I try to be patient. I realize that living in a hotel is not good for kids who have trouble with change. The problem is that I'm just as stressed out as they are, possibly more.
Between noon and 1pm a housekeeper came to the girls' room. She took their trash out and they told her that the light and fan in the bathroom don't work. She said she would tell someone in the office and left. She never came back. She didn't make the beds or vacuum the floor, she didn't take dirty towels or bring clean towels. She just took out the trash and disappeared. She never came to my room to do anything. We ended up buying garbage bags ourselves as the tiny trash bins were overflowing.
Did I call the front desk to complain? No. It's not my job to keep their employees on track. If I get a housekeeper tomorrow I will let them know I'm unimpressed with yesterday (today). If not, I will talk to the front desk in person tomorrow. Today I was just too stressed out to deal with one more thing.
To finish off an already stressful day, Tony got back from work late at night (nearly 11pm) and we headed to the house to do bunny chores. At some point Tony was in the car playing games on his phone and #2 (who came with to help tonight) tossed the car keys back to him (he'd used them to unlock the house). Tony was unaware of this. So here we are at 12:30am, stuck at the house...
On the good side, all 19 kits from the two new litters are alive and well as of tonight.
