Now I'm faced with more dilemmas. It was getting hard to entertain a three year old all day while the 13 year old did his school work on the computer. Now I'll have five kids in the hotel full time. And the 13 year old still has another week of school left!
Tonight #1 and #2 are staying at grandpa's house to take care of his dog and cats while he's away for the weekend. #3 and #4 put themselves to bed after a long swim in the pool and a late dinner. Then Tony and I and #5 and Moose ran home to take care of the bunnies. I hate these late nights trying to feed and water everyone in the dark. I'm very much looking forward to being able to take care of my rabbits on a more hands-on level very soon.
Still no updates on either housing front. Tony wants us to spend Sunday and Monday evening after he gets off work cleaning up the house as best we can so when the cleaners come back Tuesday they can finish everything up (if they actually come on time and send more than one or two people). Then we have a chance of getting the landlord to bring in the repair people to install a new heater and new water heater, get that inspected, and get the OK to move back hopefully next weekend. That is if the other house doesn't come through first. It's all up in the air at this point. I just want out of the hotel.
We ended the day with a lovely lightning storm that moved through just before midnight. Fortunately the rain held off until we were done with the rabbit chores and they were all tarped up and we were driving back to the hotel.
