The low tonight is expected to dip to 39-degrees (seriously, it was 80 yesterday). I went out tonight and covered all of the plants that were still in containers. Looks like I'll have to do it again tomorrow night too (low of 37), and possibly the next night (they've been dropping the low as it gets closer, it's now at 42). After that we should be good to go with cutting open all of the containers and getting into actual gardening!
The plan is to buy our dirt this week. It keeps getting put off for one reason or another, but this is it. If we don't get the dirt in, we won't have the garden, and I will be very upset if we miss out two years in a row with all the time and energy I've put into planning and collecting seeds. We will also need to rent a tiller. Let's get this project done and set up!
I have been working on adding some more to the RedBubble Shop, but I've been kind of busy, so it's a few designs here and there.
Also, a few days ago I mentioned getting some new seeds from a new website I came across. It's called Earthineer. It offers forums by topic, and a marketplace to buy, sell, trade, or give away items. Everything is geared toward homesteaders, gardeners, and folks who make and grow their own stuff.
